New Horizons Youth Centre

We support around 2500 16-21 year olds every year, the majority of whom are in urgent need of housing. We always listen and help young people make positive choices.

The New Horizon Youth Centre helps with youth by:

• making referrals into hostels, shelters and other accommodation
• helping with benefit problems or making claims
• advising or helping with appeals for those who have been sanctioned
• helping in communicating with Probation, Police, social workers or hostel workers
• finding support for those with debt problems
• finding support for those who may be homeless due to a relationship breakdown
• getting legal advice or a solicitor

Founded in 1967 by Lord Longford to address the needs of young people who were involved in drug misuse in the West End of London, New Horizon Youth Centre continues today to work with the most vulnerable and at risk young people.
